Teams Set for Sticks N Chicks 2010Click here for preview
The weather Gods provided a GREAT DAY for the annual Sticks n Chicks Golf outing at Petrifyng Springs Park in Kenosha on Saturday September 12, 2009. A exciting race to the finish saw two team knotted at 8-under par 63 after all teams completed their 18 hole rounds. The 4 Phules and the Dream Team reported to the practice green for the first ever Sticks n Chicks chip and putt alternate scramble play-off.
The shot of the day came when Todd Barina hit a towering draw to the tough 18th green that rolled to less than 10 feet from the flag for a Phule birdie - drawing them tied with the Dream Team. Nicole Mutz calmly knocked in the putt.
Hole Prize Winners were: #3 Longest Putt - Cori Archambault (Birds of Prey), #4 - Closest to the Pin - Todd Barina (Phules), #8 - Longest Drive - Monte Kahl (Whoop Ass), #12 Closest to the Pin - Gretchen Barina (Dream Team), #13 Longest Drive - Chris Behl (Birds of Prey), #17 Longest Putt - Dave Kasiske (Whoop Ass). Newcomer Award - tough choice with a lot of newcomers this year, but Steve and Annie Hembrook traveled all the way from Florida for their first Sticks N Chicks outing and earned the honors for 2009.
The Phules used a nice chip by Tom Delaney and a solid putt by Todd Barina to take the 2009 Title. Thanks to everyone for coming out and special thanks to Ted and Alli for hosting and Lem and Kim for the prizes and grillwork!
